Experimental Analysis of Bearing Capacity of Basalt Fiber Reinforced Concrete Short Columns under Axial Compression

چکیده

Adding basalt fiber to concrete can improve the mechanical properties of concrete, and it is also one best ways enhance ultimate bearing capacity structure. In this paper, construction performance compressive strength basalt-fiber-reinforced (BFRC) with five kinds lengths eight volume content subjected an axial load are systematically investigated. The optimum length obtained by comprehensively considering strength. Moreover, prediction model finite element analysis method developed. results show that about 12–24 mm 0.15%. appropriate amount effectively short columns, maximum average increases 28% 24%, respectively. addition, comparison experimental shows both proposed modeling have good applicability, they be used predict BRFC columns in practical engineering.
